Apollo Vredestein BV improved brand appearance at all dealerships in Europe
Apollo Vredestein BV is known for its tire brands Apollo and Vredestein. The organisation aims to reach its customers better and has developed the partner programme ‘The Inner Circle’. One of the principles of this programme is the development of a unique shop design for retail partners. RGN brand identity services has further developed the distinctive design and gradually implements the design between 2016 and 2020 at all affiliated dealers in Europe.
A number of challenges characterise the implementation of Apollo Vredestein’s partner programme:
- The number of locations and the division throughout Europe
- Separate brand identities for both Apollo and Vredestein
- The rebrand has to occur outside of the seasonal tire changes
Because of these challenges, Apollo Vredestein BV required a clear overview and good project management. Our international network of Local Heroes and our tooling were the decisive factors for Apollo Vredestein to cooperate with RGN.

We gradually realise the implementation during various phases (waves). During the first wave in 2016, we implemented the internal and external shop elements that were developed before we joined the project. This gave us the opportunity to evaluate the elements on aesthetic value, durability, and ease of installation. Together with various parties, we have improved the components to make them look even better and to simplify production and assembly.
Tooling en Local Heroes
We have relieved Apollo Vredestein BV by the way we approached the project and with our tooling network of Local Heroes. The organisation had a 24/7 insight into the progress of the project because of the always available dashboard of CI-Control. Moreover, CI-Control is the perfect tool to document all shop details. In the process of value engineering, we have optimised the elements so that local parties can install them quickly and easily. The new shop design ensures that Apollo Vredestein is more recognisable to its customers and stimulates the sale of tires.
